The classes offered cover intro/beginners to intermediate levels of instruction. I also will be holding workshops where we can cover a new technique in depth and complete a project to take home. We have so many fun things we can do if you have a great workshop idea just let me know.

"Discover One Stroke" Class: You may sign up for any beginner class (except the Rose ) as a Discover One Stroke class. For this class I furnish all supplies so you can try One Stroke for your self, all you need to bring with you is your smile. Limited to 2 per student at home studio classes only.

This One Stroke technique course is the starting point to learn the basics on which all else is built. It covers, One Stroke vocabulary, brushes, proper loading of the brush and making the basic strokes. Each class in the series builds upon the skills learned in the previous class. New elements are introduced in each class. These classes are painted on gift bags, folders, scrap book papers and tiles.

Class 1. Rosebuds and One Stroke leaf.
Class 2. Wildflowers, and vines .
Class 3.Heart shaped wood vine with 5 petal flowers and bow.
Class 4.Heart (Wiggle) leaves, Wisteria, curlicues and Butterfly.
Class 5. Sunflowers
Class 6. The Rose, and Bees
Class 7.Ferns and Ladybugs
Class 8. Palm Tree and tropical foliage

Intermediate Classes Now offered only by request.
These classes build on the basics and are project oriented. We will paint on a variety of surfaces (wood, tin, glass) and discuss preparation and sealing of different kinds of surfaces as well as learning new flowers, fruits and veggies.

One Stroke Painting is so much fun and addicting to say the least. Here are the most commonly asked questions:
Q. Do I need any prior painting experience?
A. No, we teach you everything you will need to know to get off to a great start.
Q. What kind of paints do we use?
A. Folk Art paints by Plaid. These paints are thicker and produce the best results.
Q. What kind of brushes do we use?
A. One Stroke brushes. These brushes are designed for this painting method, and will give you better results.
Q. Where can I get these paints and brushes ?
A. I have all the supplies you need for One Stroke painting available at my studio or you can find them at any craft or discount store.
Q. What does O. S. C. I. stand for ?
A. One Stroke Certified Instructor.
